Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby 2012

The Pinewood Derby was first held in 1953 "To devise a wholesome, constructive activity that would foster a closer father-son relationship and promote craftsmanship and good sportsmanship through competetion."  The Scouts from the Monroe Ward were so excited to be able to participate and race their Pinewood Derby Cars.  Thanks to Justin Walbom and the rest of the great Leaders for getting this great activity orgainzed and making it happen.  Sister Bostic and her great helpers supplied yummy cookies, cupcakes and punch for the racers and their families.  Congratulations to all of the participants.
