Well, we had a great time at Anna William’s Baby Shower.  The food was great.  I was going to try not to eat any cake but, boy it sure was good.

Thank you to the Hosts (Sena and Candace, I think) for putting together this Baby shower.

I just love these little get togethers! And being able to buy those cute little outfits and neat baby gadets is just a bonus.

A special thank you to Brother Clark for the baby sitting service, I know you had a wild time.

Relief Society Newsletter for October 2012

Welcome to Relief Society
October 2012

Those who diligently seek to learn of Christ eventually will come to know Him. They will personally receive a divine portrait of the Master, although it most often comes in the form of a puzzle—one piece at a time. Each individual piece may not be easily recognizable by itself; it may not be clear how it relates to the whole. Each piece helps us to see the big picture a little more clearly. Eventually, after enough pieces have been put together, we recognize the grand beauty of it all. Then, looking back on our experience, we see that the Savior had indeed come to be with us—not all at once but quietly, gently, almost unnoticed."

—Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "Waiting on the Road to Damascus",

"No matter what circumstances you sister’s experience, your influence can be marvelously far-reaching. I believe some of you have a tendency to underestimate your profound capacity for blessing the lives of others. More often than not, it is not on the stage with some public pronouncement but in your example of righteousness and the countless gentle acts of love and kindness done so willingly, so often on a one-to-one basis."
--James E. Faust, "You Are All Heaven Sent," Ensign, Nov. 2002, 110

"Not a day has gone by that I have not communicated with my Father in Heaven through prayer. It is a relationship I cherish—one I would literally be lost without. If you do not now have such a relationship with your Father in Heaven, I urge you to work toward that goal. As you do so, you will be entitled to His inspiration and guidance in your life."
